I am a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 30 years experience in Construction and Maintenance. During my experience in these industries I had acknowledged that there was a huge demand for engineers and technical staff, which could not be filled from within the UK.
With my former employer I had successfully organised and placed over 100 skilled engineers from Romania and the Philippines, following which, deciding that I wanted to own my own company and be in control of my own destiny, I set up an International Recruitment Agency. The agency would specifically target the areas, which I knew to be lacking in resource.
I realised that franchising would give me the chance to accelerate my business set-up by providing myself with a recognised brand, and the knowledge of processes, procedures and training for my new company.
After detailed search, I discovered Antal International Network that gave me a Global brand and access to 23 countries through the network of owned and franchised offices. In an instant I had access to a diversity of nations and skills I could not have established in many years of trading on my own.

Training was provided in London, starting with a two week course that was followed up with a further two week ‘hands on’ training session in the office. It taught the Antal methodology, along with various sales techniques and a brief overview of the Antal database that is available to all franchise owners.
Support is provided from the head office in London where everyone has always been helpful with any queries I have had. In addition to this, the business development team maintain contact and visit the franchises, delivering tangible assistance.
Franchising has allowed me to start the business quicker than I could have off my own efforts and provided me with additional background knowledge on which to build my establishment.
